It’s about Chloe and her friend Izzie Margolis, who are trying to make their big breakthrough with their band “Drugstore Makeup.” They go on tour and try to write new songs. The atmosphere is quite different from the supernatural stories we usually experience in Arcadia Bay. Here, it’s really all about life in the band.
The book also delves deeply into Chloe’s relationship with Izzie. It’s not always easy to be in a band and keep your dreams alive while on the road. Chloe also has to deal with some strange dreams that are connected to Life Strange: Reunion. The book is 256 pages long and costs $18.99. Honestly, it’s great to see Chloe back in action. She’s such a classic character. Even in this prequel, you can still feel the legacy of the earlier games. She’s still the same person we know and love. It’s nice to watch her development outside of the main storyline.
When I reviewed Life Strange: Reunion, I had a hard time understanding why Max was back. After everything that happened in the first game, it seemed a bit confusing to me. But then I saw Chloe again. That’s when I realized why this story was being told. It was about how these characters deal with their past and their future. By the time the credits rolled, it had all been worth it.
