It can really be a headache trying to find Best Netflix shows. The selection is just huge! It’s almost overwhelming. Luckily, I’ve put together a list of the five best shows you should watch on Netflix this week, from 2026.
Our team has reviewed all the new releases and the big hits to help you decide what to watch on your TV. One office comedy is particularly popular right now. It reached number one in the U.S. almost immediately after the third season premiered. It’s a huge hit.
There’s also a series for younger viewers that’s still enjoying great success this summer. Another one is a Western series. People are still watching it, even though critics aren’t as enthusiastic about it as they used to be. And you know what? Two new series are coming out that you should definitely check out.
One of them is a funny show about technology, which premieres on Netflix on Wednesday, August 19. Then there’s the grand finale of a long-running teen series, which is perfect for a binge-watching weekend.
MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS
This series is a huge hit. It’s already been announced that there will be a fourth season—even before the third season premiered on August 6. It’s currently the most-watched series on Netflix worldwide during this third week of August.
The new season racked up over 9 million views and 71 million hours of watch time in just the first four days. That’s pretty cool. That puts it right in the middle of the first two seasons. Although the series is aimed at teens, it’s still a really great choice for everyone this week.
RANSOM CANYON
Critics may not be quite as enthusiastic about this series, but fans love it. It’s a soap-opera-style Western, a sort of mix between “Yellowstone” and “Virgin River.” It stars Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. The second season premiered on July 23 and has been a steady hit ever since.
Even though critics aren’t giving it high ratings anymore, it’s still a solid eight-episode series. If you like love stories set in the West, you should definitely check it out.
THE AUDACITY
This is a super exciting new series. If you liked “Succession” or “Silicon Valley,” you’ll probably like this one, too. It’s a comedy about corporate life. The first season consists of eight episodes and officially premieres on Netflix this years. It already aired on AMC in April.
The series’ creator, Jonathan Glatzer, also worked on “Succession” and “Better Call Saul.” He knows his stuff. The series pokes fun at rich tech executives and all the self-centered people trying to stay on top.
OUTER BANKS
You should keep an eye on this series. The fifth and final season premieres this Thursday, August 20. Set on the North Carolina coast, it’s the perfect summer series. Everyone expects it to be a huge hit this weekend. It doesn’t set out to be a highbrow, serious drama, but fans have loved it since its debut in 2020.
The plot is a bit wild and sometimes not very realistic. That might bother some people, but if you know what you’re getting into, it’s still a lot of fun.
TIRES
Finally, we have to talk about “Tires.” It’s a workplace comedy starring Shane Gillis. It’s currently the best show for binge-watching, as it’s ranked number one in the U.S. The series has come a long way. The first season had only six episodes and felt pretty low-budget. Now, it’s actually one of the funniest shows on Netflix.
The series follows Shane, who works at an auto repair shop in rural Pennsylvania. He’s supposed to be a mechanic, but most of the time he’s just getting into mischief with his friends, played by Steve Gerben, Chris O’Connor, and Kilah Fox.
In Season 3, things get a little more serious. Shane’s dad is the boss—he’s pretty immature, but he wants to boost sales. This puts a lot of pressure on the employees.
Shane also has to deal with his own personal issues this season, especially his drinking. It’s funny, but also very realistic. If you want to laugh a lot this week, “Tires” is the best show you can choose.
