Have you played Star Wars Zero Company yet and wondered who those familiar faces are? The game is full of cool cameos, and fans will definitely notice all the Star Wars Zero Company cameos recurring characters. It follows a team of mercenaries working for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Even though the main team is new, you’ll encounter some big names from the movies and TV shows as you battle the “Infinite Coil” cult.
GORGA THE HUTT
Gorga the Hutt appears very early on. He serves as the leader of your mercenary group. You may know him as Jabba the Hutt’s nephew. He first appeared in the animated series The Clone Wars. He isn’t physically present in this game. He simply speaks to the team via a hologram on a table. He assigns you missions but doesn’t tell you the whole truth about what you’re actually doing.
He’s also mentioned in some of the text-based missions where you earn rewards. If you like the criminal side of the galaxy, you’ll recognize his style. He’s businesslike and cool-headed. It’s a funny nod to the “Star Wars” underworld.
ANAKIN SKYWALKER
Anakin Skywalker was a surprise to many. He already appeared in the trailers before the game’s release. In the story, he’s a general in the Republic Army. He shows up during a prisoner exchange. Something goes wrong during the exchange, allowing you to actually control him for a few battles. He feels incredibly powerful and is nearly invincible.
This is the Anakin you know from “The Clone Wars”. He’s confident and cool. He’s also Ahsoka’s mentor. When you control him, you’ll be able to use the Force for the first time in the game. It’s a great way to show just how powerful the Jedi were before everything went down the drain.
SHEEV PALPATINE
Palpatine has the shortest cameo in the game. Just like Gorga, he only appears as a hologram. You see him delivering his famous speech about the founding of the Galactic Empire. This happens at the exact moment Order 66 is issued. This gives the whole scene a truly oppressive and sad atmosphere.
Your team tries to fight the villains, but then the leadership changes and everything goes haywire. One of your team members, Trick, turns against the team because of Order 66. This reminds you just how dangerous Palpatine really was. It was a dark, cool moment to experience in the game.
CAPTAIN REX
After the Empire seizes power, your team is on the run. About a year later, Captain Rex contacts you. He’s a fan favorite from the animated series. Ahsoka saved him from his inhibitor chip. Now he’s working with an underground group of clones to fight the Empire.
He has information about an Imperial program on Umbara. You play as Rex on a special mission. This helps reintegrate your friend Trick back into the group. After Trick is injured, Rex’s team helps remove his chip. This is a truly important turning point in the story.
TRILLA SUDURI, THE SECOND SISTER
Trilla Suduri is the most surprising character you’ll see here. You probably remember her from Jedi: Fallen Order. She’s an Inquisitor who hunts down Jedi who survived the Purge. She calls the character Tel-Rea and tells her about a secret Jedi hideout on Dantooine. If you’ve played Fallen Order, you already know it’s a trap.
The battle against her is one of the most challenging sections of the game. She even mentions her old Master, Cere Junda. That makes sense, since the developers of this game are collaborating with the creators of the Jedi games. For anyone who loves these stories, this is a great surprise.
