We’ve all been waiting forever for more news about “Grand Theft Auto 6,” and Rockstar has finally released a massive, in-depth look that’s given us plenty to talk about. There was plenty of action with Jason and Lucia, but some of the best GTA 6 extended look details were actually the little things hidden in the background. It’s super easy to overlook these tiny moments when there’s so much chaos on the screen.
Many people have noticed the big things, like the ability to switch characters or change your clothes. But Rockstar has built in many more secrets. These little animations and side notes might just be for fun, or they could hint that there are some truly deep systems hidden in the game that we don’t even know about yet. This list covers all those cool moments that are easy to overlook and that nobody else is talking about.
At one point in the video, Jason gets to pet a dog. That’s pretty common in games these days, but take a closer look at the screen. Immediately afterward, a small angel icon appears, accompanied by a sound effect. Strange, isn’t it?
Rockstar hasn’t revealed what this icon is for. Maybe it’s intended for a karma system or some kind of friendship mechanic with pets. Either way, it looks like the game is watching how you interact with the world. It’s definitely more than just a cute interaction.
There’s a scene where they rob a store together. Since there’s a lot going on, it’s easy to miss, but Jason is actually doing the heavy lifting while you control Lucia. He’s not just a puppet following you around.
This is incredibly important because it shows that the partnership is genuine. When both of them have their own tasks during a heist, playing with them feels much more lively than just switching back and forth.
They won’t always be glued together. At one point in the footage, someone offers them a mission but says they’re only looking for one person. Lucia accepts the mission, and Jason simply steps back.
This leads me to suspect that the story might include missions intended for only one of them. It feels like a more natural way to tell a story, rather than forcing both characters into every single mission.
Okay, this might be a tiny little thing, but honestly, it’s my favorite detail. Jason walks through a door and actually holds it open for Lucia. He even looks back to make sure she’s following.
It may not have anything to do with the mission, but it makes them seem like real people. It’s that little extra touch that makes the world so much more believable. I love details like that.
Normally, in a GTA game, you have all your weapons at your disposal. But in the video, someone mentions that his weapons were taken away. He says he has to handle the situation without them.
That’s a big change! It forces you to actually fight with your bare hands or search for weapons on the spot. That sounds like a fun way to add variety to the gameplay.
At the start of the game, they aren’t famous criminals yet. You can tell they’re just trying to get noticed by the big shots. They have to prove they can get the job done—and get paid for it.
Watching them climb the career ladder feels very realistic. They don’t rule the city from the start; they have to earn their reputation first, which gives the story the feeling that there’s really something at stake.
There’s a scene where an influencer literally rides along in a car and films a police chase. That sounds crazy, but it’s basically just everyday life in Florida.
This shows that social media satire will be found all over the world, not just on menus. Things are definitely going to get pretty wild out there, and I’m all in.
The video moves so fast that it’s hard to keep track of all the side activities. You can play basketball, go kayaking, and work out. We also saw some motorcycle races.
Motorcycle races are always a blast. Knowing that there are dedicated events for them makes the map feel even bigger. I wonder what else they’ve got hidden.
We finally got to see Bayside. The characters even mention the name, so we know for sure that’s where they are. It was nice to see a location that isn’t just the main part of the city.
It’s just a small glimpse, but it proves that the world is going to be huge. We really haven’t seen everything yet. I can’t wait to see what else they’ll show us before the game finally comes out!
