One might easily wonder whether the series’ reputation played a role in this. But let’s be honest: Nicholas Hoult is a huge star right now. He’s constantly incredibly busy with major Hollywood projects. It makes sense that he has a packed schedule. He’s not the type to sit around waiting for a job.
We know that one of his major films is the new “Superman” sequel, “Man of Tomorrow.” He’s playing Lex Luthor, and this role will be quite significant. It’s hard to say exactly what the other project is. Maybe he’s working with a director he admires, or starting something new.
