It’s a great story about what happens when people gain too much power. The film is both entertaining and a little dark.
8. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
This is a beautiful film from Hong Kong. It combines martial arts with a tragic love story. It’s set in ancient China. Two warriors try to find a stolen sword. The film looks breathtaking. Steven Spielberg directed it, and he really knows how to make an entertaining movie. Harrison Ford is perfect in the lead role. The film features cool stunts and great music. It’s the gold standard for adventure movies.
2. Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
This is a great movie about a British soldier named T. E. Lawrence. During World War I, he ventures into the desert and tries to unite tribes in the fight against the Ottoman Empire. Although the film is very long, it’s worth the wait. It’s not just a war movie. It shows that Lawrence was a complex, and at times selfish, person. An absolute classic.

This is number one on the list. It’s a Japanese film about seven warriors who help a village fend off bandits. It’s long, but every minute is worth it.
